Super-practical and attractive reusable shopping bags! They fold up like a book and snap closed so they are perfect to carry around in your purse so you always have a bag available when you are out shopping. They also have boxed corners so they are very roomy inside.
There are three different designs in the set (birds, leaves and flowers) and each one comes in two sizes for the 5x7 and 6x10 hoop with between 6,800 and 9,400 stitches and 7 or 8 color stops. Once the cover is finished stitching, it is sewn onto the front of a piece of fabric. Detailed instructions are included for sewing the shopping bag - it is a very easy style with french seams down the sides so it's very sturdy and no raw edges anywhere in the bag.
You can use vinyl or cork for the embroidered front and I tested cotton, RipStop nylon, Oly Fun and laminated fabric (outdoor tablecloth fabric).
You can also used the instructions and measurements from this set to make a larger boxed-corner version of the original Market Totes.
