Clear Zip Pouches

The pouch of a thousand uses!  This set of 5 zipper pouches is super-handy to have around and very easy to make.  They are completed in just 8 color stops and fewer than 2,500 stitches each, plus there is no turning or assembly – just cut out the pocket from the vinyl and it’s finished.  They all fit in the 5x7 hoop except the largest which is for the 6x10 hoop.

They are very versatile and, when they are not in use, they are flat and do not take up much storage room.  Because they are made completely with vinyl, they are water repellent – your stuff will come out of rain, mud, splatter and splashing perfectly clean and dry.  Some practical uses for these pouches include:

• Sending the kids to camp or to college with communal bathrooms outside of their rooms… keep their toiletries in a pouch with their name stitched on the back and hang it on a hook so it’s always ready to grab when needed;
• Going camping…. Use the pouches to keep all the little things clean, dry and easy to find such as mosquito spray, wet wipes, a utensil set, store cell phones when not in use, toiletries, tissues;
• Use them in the camper to keep all those small bits neat and organized;
• Organize all the small items in your purse, they’ll be easy to find because of the clear front, they will stay clean, the pouches take up very little room, and your items will be protected by the padded back;
• Make up a bunch of the small ones to keep your buttons, snaps, and all those little bits and bobs in your craft room pretty and organized;
• Do them up in leather and add some rivets and they’ll make an excellent gift for teen boys and men;
• Fill a pouch with essential overnight toiletries to give your houseguests the hotel treatment;

Bonus!  Weekly medication/pill organizer is included with this set.  It fits in the 5x7 hoop and securely holds 7 days of pills plus an 8^th compartment for extra’s.  The padded back protects the pills and it is very thin so takes up no room in a purse or suitcase.  Great for travel.
